Natural Inspiration for Transformation
I’ve written a few times about how inspired I am by things in nature. The geometry of it, the beauty of it, the unassumingness of it all.
Lately I’ve been thinking about cycles of nature and cues we can take from the transformation from dormancy into vibrancy. Slowing down, even for a minute, can open our eyes to the aspects of the world we forget about in our busyness. I believe nature teaches us many valuable lessons.
It’s fascinating to think about how taking time to rest can factor into our ability to grow and change. Just like the daffodils that pop up each spring. Bees and other pollinators show us that if we let others help us along the way, we can become the best version of ourselves. The growing season teaches us about slow and steady progress. And the payoff come harvest time after we’ve put in the hard work. I think about how the birds repurpose the resources around them, crafting homes out of bits and pieces they find. The examples go on and on.
Transformation is a key part of everything in nature, including us. Enjoy the journey, embrace the transformation. Take the time to soak up the things around us. It can make us better and give us a fuller, richer life. Let nature be your inspiration in many facets of life.
