The Power of Collaboration
Collaboration with my clients becomes a shared vision. Input and inspiration, as well as a connection with the journey result in a feeling of joy as we realize that neither of us is alone in making this vision come alive.
Through collaboration, communication and shared goals, even moving a mountain is possible. Ants do it all the time.
In my own life, I discovered the power of possibility in realizing I was not alone. Whether it was building a home, creating my design business, or partnering during this pandemic. The possibilities are endless when you have a shared set of goals, when you can connect with others and value their input. The collaboration is the journey.

For a recent collaboration, Robyn wanted a powerful ring that evoked strength, protection, femininity and possibility. Her inspiration was the evil eye with a bit more drama. I named the resulting piece the “Goddess Ring”.
We repurposed the oval moissanite from an existing ring which was much more delicate, into a design that reflected where she was in her life now. Combining the ancient with the modern, set in rose gold with green tsavorite garnets pavéd around the edge. A V shape on the side reveals a peek-a-boo view of the stone. The scale is also much larger than the original ring and suits her perfectly. As if it were made just for her!
I presented the ring to her in a park with a customized intention ceremony and guided visualization to go with her journey. I think it was really special for both of us!
Happy Birthday, Robyn!
A testimonial from Robyn:
I was referred to Claudia when I got engaged at 36 years old. I had never been married before and my fiancé and I wanted to express our love in a unique way. Claudia worked with us to design my wedding ring and band. She took the time to learn about us, was invested in our journey and made our love come to life in our unique way; black stones to represent our individuals paths, rose gold to represent one of the first gifts I received (a bracelet that said “Stop and smell the roses”), and our center stone, to represent us coming together.
After a couple years of marriage, we decided to get divorced. Hey, it happens. As we get older, our individuality defines us and to succeed in marriage, I’ve learned that side of a person still must shine. I wanted that back, I wanted me back. I reached out to Claudia as a friend, wondering if she had any ideas of how to reinvigorate my spirit. She suggested I bring my ring and we have a chat. When I met with Claudia, I remembered why she shines, she was still invested in my journey. Claudia and I explored a simple question – Who are you and who do you want to be? As adults, we just don’t explore this enough. We came up with a lot in this meeting; I wanted my power back, I wanted to be my fun and vivacious self unapologetically while honoring the lessons learned in my marriage.
Little did I know this creative process would evoke a healing process and a reinvention of my mind, body and spirit. With every design session, I saw the transformation in the ring and myself. I’m not very creative yet felt inspired into action with each call, email and text. When the ring was ready, Claudia offered to host me for an unveiling ceremony. I went with it. We met in a park, meditated, visualized, and cried (ok, maybe just me). This was the first time I saw the ring in person and WOW, she’s a stunner.
Claudia has gifts and talents that extend beyond jewelry design. Her selfless approach gave us the opportunity to create a ring that is mystical and modern. A beautiful reminder to honor my past (main stone) but never let it stand in the way of my power (green stones). The evil eye inspiration reminds me that I deserve to be seen while the side divots reflect resilience to preserve through the ups and downs of life. Every time I wear this ring, it shines, but more importantly, I shine…unapologetically.
With love and gratitude,
Robyn
