In Celebration of Mothering

For as long as I can remember, I have looked to my mother for guidance. She gave me an appreciation of the arts, she modeled a personal style that influenced my love of beauty and fashion and jewels, but most of all, she taught me to seek my own path and explore what my life could be. She is aging quickly now and as our roles reverse and I become the one looking out for her, I feel such deep gratitude for the ways both big and small that she’s always had my back. 

Whether you are celebrating your own mother today, or yourself as you mother others, or the women in your life who have helped show you the way, may we remember to always uplift and support each other.
