For as long as I can remember, I have looked to my mother for guidance. She gave me an appreciation of the arts, she modeled a personal style that influenced my love of beauty and fashion and jewels, but most of all, she taught me to seek my own path and explore what my life could be.
The Resilience of Mothers
I saw this flower yesterday and it reminded me of my mom. She actually prefers pink to orange, but this little beauty had pluck, thriving amongst the concrete. When I think of my mom, I can’t help but think of her resilience. I think of all the challenges I’ve seen her face and overcome.
