Grounded

Happy Earth Day! This past Sunday we went to the beach. It took us at least an hour and half to find a parking spot, but once we were sea-side, I didn’t care. Toes in the sand, no worries to be had. It was glorious and grounding. Connecting to the Earth is so good for my soul.

In recent weeks, I’ve spent a lot of time at my workbench just exploring possibilities – creating for creation’s sake – more so than I have in months. It’s been truly therapeutic. Sometimes I get so bogged down in the details and the to-do lists, I forget to enjoy the process.

We all need to do what keeps us grounded. For me it’s taking the time to connect…connecting to the earth, to design, and especially to my clients. Getting to know them, hearing their stories, sharing the process with them, understanding what their piece represents to them and why it’s important. These connections inspire me and fill me up with creative fire. 

So this week we launched a new feature on the website that will help me do more of this! It’s a little tab on the right hand side of any page, that says, “Consult with me!” All you have to do is click the tab to schedule a virtual consultation. When we meet we’ll talk about your project and ideas and see what kind of magic we can make together. I hope you’ll try it out!
