Renewal

Spring is finally here! It does something wonderful for my soul. I feel renewed, refreshed and uplifted. Shiny and bright.

I’d imagine that’s how my clients Heather and David feel, too, after their recent engagement. It was such a delight to work with them and create these symbols of their love.

One of these rings was actually renewed with new life itself! The yellow gold linear ring holds Heather’s grandmother’s wedding ring inside the shank. A special reminder of the love she comes from.

Examples of young love like theirs are often a great source of renewal for my own. Seeing others in earlier phases of their relationship reminds me of how I felt in my relationship at the same stage. Giddy and light.

It also gives me perspective, to see how far my husband and I have come since we first pledged our lives to each other. We’ve grown so much, partnered through so much, and have so much more to look forward to together. His love renews me daily.
