Summer Solstice

The Summer Solstice is coming up on Sunday and it has me thinking about parallels. The balance between light and dark, between emotional and rational. There is a perfect tension that holds harmony between opposites, a balancing contrast.

I’ve got a serious fascination with this tension. Finding harmony, making peace with the tension, the perfect balance of contrast. It plays a part in my daily life, in my relationships, my self-care, in my overarching belief system, and it plays out in my design work.
