June is always the month I celebrate the men in my life. The truth is, there are so many men who have impacted my life and helped me grow.

It’s not always the advice your mother tells you, sometimes it’s the example they live. Sometimes it’s what your mother didn’t say.

It doesn’t take much to make our world, or someone else’s day, a little bit better. It might take a little effort and some intentional mindfulness, but it can start with something as simple as a smile.

As International Women’s Day was approaching I was trying to think of a female role model. Someone empowered who inspired me and I couldn’t think of a single one — because dozens were coming to mind. Real and fictitious, famous and unknown, these are the women who challenge, inspire, and move me daily.

With Valentine’s season right around the corner, I’ve been thinking a lot about what it means to love. Love can live in the little things, and in the big overtures. It can be the easiest thing in the world and sometimes the most difficult.

Perfection is about perspective. Perspective is the truth as you see and experience it.

I recently created a visualization that helps me change my perspective, especially when I feel stuck, or when I’m not shining as brightly as I want to in the world. I’m excited to share it with you as my gift for 2018. I hope it helps you on your journey throughout the coming year.
